TAKS Practice
Links to TEA-sponsored TAKS practice:
TAKS Study Guides (”low-resolution files are optimized for Internet use and they may vary in quality from the original high quality booklets.”) These have a cursory overview of the material tested, and some practice questions and an answer key. at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/student.assessment/resources/guides/study/index.html
• “TAKS Study Guides may be purchased by calling 1-800-252-9186.”
• I believe most (or many) schools have these available or are already using them with students. Older versions are likely available at libraries.
Interactive TAKS Study Guides (This is the publisher, Pearson’s, site. The guides are the same as the ones downloadable from TEA, but are interactive online)

By the way. More resources at Pearson. http://perspective.pearsonaccess.com/perspective/appmanager/tx/family/?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=p2_home_page
“This website provides a wide range of study guide resources to help improve your child’s knowledge and skills. You can also find information related to the Texas assessment program, the Confidential Student Report, and how your child’s learning is assessed.” Blah blah. I didn’t try any of this.
Released Tests (Adobe Acrobat format): a long list of released tests and answer keys. These are copies of the actual tests. No explanations. Choose your grade level and subject.

Released Tests (interactive online versions): Again, there are several years’ worth of tests. Choose your and grade level and subject. These are also copies of the actual test. Interactive only in the sense that the computer scores for you. Also no explanations.
